Terms and Conditions

Booking Confirmation

The Company reserves the right to alter the published price of any tour due to increasing tariffs, costs and entry fees or fluctuation in exchange rates. Such amounts shall be determined at the sole discretion of the Company. Furaha Adventure will only accept bookings where the booking or indemnity tours are confirmed or incomplete in any respect. No booking shall be considered confirmed until a written confirmation itinerary has been sent to the agent/client, and the 15% deposit has been issued, and the tour will only start as soon as full amount due paid. All hotels and tour services as per agreed on the itinerary are only secured once payment is processed. In unlikely cases of unavailability, other options of similar level will be provided but will never booked without client’s authorization.

A 15% deposit is required to secure a booking. This amount forms part of the payment for the trip and shall be offset to the total amount charged to the client/agent and is fully refundable. The balance of payment is required no later than 2 weeks before the departure date or unless the client agreed to bring cash and pay upon arrival before the tour starts.

Just in case of any future emergency regarding the pandemic or any other reasonable emergency, Furaha Adventure will be happy to refund up to 100% of your travel deposit for those who would prefer to cancel their trip. But for those who will opt to postpone we want to assure you that if you plan to resume your trip within the next 3 years there will be no extra charges for your trip. This means you can postpone your travel for the same deposit or full amount paid unless there are major changes on government park fees and taxes.

Cancellation Policy

If a booking is canceled less than twenty-eight (28) days prior to departure, the client is subject to a cancellation fee as follows:

  • 22-28 days – 10% of total fee
  • 15-21 days – 30% of total fare
  • 8-14 days – 50% of total fare
  • 0-7 days – 60% of total fare

Any passenger joining a tour after the departure date, or not at all, or leaving before the completion of the tour for any reason whatsoever, is not entitled to any refunds whatsoever from the Company, or entitled to claim any costs for added expenses they incur. The Company reserves the right to cancel any tour at its sole and absolute discretion, without prior notification in instances where this is unavoidable. However in this instance, the Company agrees to refund all monies already paid by the client.
